We are excited to present SWITCH, our first Arizona House DJ competition in the historic and legendary Wasted Grain in old town Scottsdale. The event will take place Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 8p to 12a. Five chosen DJs will get a chance to perform in front of judges and a live audience who will determine who wins the grand prize of $1,500. There will be other cash and prizes for the contestants including an opportunity at a paid set at a local club, some sponsored swag, and more. Also look for interesting art installations and light shows during the event. The venue will have a full bar and kitchen during the event.

VIP Experience
In addition to the main event there will be a VIP experience inside the new Old Town Ski Lodge behind Wasted Grain. The VIP party will be from 8p to 9p and in addition to a free event cocktail, and a small swag bag, you get an opportunity to meet and take pictures with our 5 contestants and judges.
Wasted Grain

We’re so excited to be hosting our first event at the historic Wasted Grain in Old Town Scottsdale, just blocks from the District. With a main bar that includes a stage that is open to the sidewalk and VIP seating, this location also includes a private patio that leads up to a unique lounge experience with the feel of being at a mountain ski lodge where the VIP party will take place.

We’re also excited to have the opportunity to give back to the community by donating a portion of bar sales and VIP tickets to Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers.
The Rock Teen Center inspires teens (12-20) to grow through music, dance and art. We provide vocational training in sound and recording, lighting and staging, video production, as well as a computer lab and a cool, supervised facility for the teens to engage with their peers. In a time where public schools are cutting funding for empowering programs like music, dance and art, The Rock cultivates a love of the arts to inspire and challenge teens to embrace artistic excellence and reach their full potential.
Meet some people from the organization and have chances to make donations at the event.
